RETAL has published its latest Sustainability Report today.
Its sixth annual report delivers on the 2023 actions and results. It is a clear indicator of the multinational plastic packaging producer’s provable commitment to procuring, producing and supplying responsible packaging for its household name customers across local and global markets.
Chief Sustainability Officer Emmanuel Duffaut says, “We are happy to share our latest Sustainability Report with all our shareholders as it clearly reflects our continued progress, most notably in climate change management, reaching several of our ESG targets ahead of schedule. The report also shows how RETAL is progressing across our sustainability roadmap, including social aspect categories."
The Sustainability Report can be downloaded here. It highlights how RETAL has reached an A- CDP score ahead of schedule, explains how it is well prepared to comply, and support its customers’ in complying with upcoming EU legislation, and that it continues to offer up to 100% rPET and use renewable energy across its plants in Europe and North America.
Duffaut, the author of the report, is keen to use this exercise as a springboard for mutually beneficial conversations with any customers, suppliers or potential customers that would like to discuss any aspect of sustainability. He says, “The wide landscape around sustainability is constantly evolving, with legislation, regulation and plastic taxes all subject to different terminology, targets and timeframes.
