RETAL is pleased to announce that it has joined the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) initiative, a voluntary initiative for the development, implementation and disclosure of responsible business practices.<\/p>\n
Launched in 2000, the UN Global Compact is the largest corporate sustainability initiative in the world. It is a call to companies everywhere to align their operations and strategies with ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption, and to take action in support of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).<\/p>\n
As a responsible plastic packaging producer, RETAL has chosen the UNGC to further align our action with recognized initiatives and provide more transparency and accountability to our stakeholders through the UNGC annual reporting (Communication on Progress\u2019 or CoP).<\/p>\n
Chief Sustainability Officer Emmanuel Duffaut says, \u201cIn line with our commitment to these principles, RETAL is proud to be a part of this important initiative.
