{"id":6502,"date":"2017-10-07T09:55:02","date_gmt":"2017-10-07T07:55:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.retalgroup.com\/retal-to-install-solar-panels-on-factory\/"},"modified":"2017-10-07T09:55:02","modified_gmt":"2017-10-07T07:55:02","slug":"retal-to-install-solar-panels-on-factory","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.retalgroup.com\/fr\/retal-to-install-solar-panels-on-factory\/","title":{"rendered":"RETAL TO INSTALL SOLAR PANELS ON FACTORY"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>RETAL Lithuania will install solar panels on the roof of its factory buildings following its successful grant from European Union Structural Funds, with the construction completing in 2018.<\/p>\n<p>The panels will be installed on RETAL&rsquo;s administration, warehouse and production buildings in Lentvaris, LT, covering an area of 15,000 m2 \u2013 making this the largest solar roof project in Lithuania to date. The panels are expected to meet the yearly electricity demand of the administration and warehouse buildings by generating over 1,200 MWh per year.<\/p>\n<p>Giedrius Viederis, General Manager of RETAL Lithuania, comments, \u201cThis technology fits perfectly with our responsible approach to the environment, and we expect our customers will appreciate that the zero CO2 energy from the solar panels will contribute to producing their products.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>RETAL Lithuania is implementing the project \u201cSolar power plant by RETAL Lithuania\u201d (project identification code No. 04.2.1-LVPA-K-836-01-0028) under the Operational Program for the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.retalgroup.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/SOLAR-PANELS-LITH-DOC-and-EU-logo-in-English_logo.pdf\">European Union Funds Investments<\/a> in 2014-2020 priority axis 4 \u201cPROMOTING ENERGY EFFICIENCY AND PRODUCTION AND USE OF RENEWABLE ENERGY\u2019\u201d measure No. 04.2.1-LVPA-K-836 \u201cRenewable Energy Sources for industry LT+\u201d.
