Global plastic packaging solutions provider Retal has been awarded a Silver level position from EcoVadis, the respected CSR performance and monitoring organisation. \u00a0<\/p>\n

Retal achieved a 60% score, positioning the company in the 25% of companies assessed by EcoVadis, and in the top 18% of its industry. \u00a0<\/p>\n

This result marks a two-point increase from Retal\u2019s last assessment in 2021, putting the company on track to achieve its goal of reaching 65% by 2023. This, said sustainability director Emmanuel Duffaut, will be realised through the continuous implementation of actions in \u2018notable areas\u2019, including Ethics, Labour Practices, and the Environment.<\/p>\n

\u201cAll these subcategories, as well as Procurement, are already above 50%,\u201d\u00a0he noted.<\/p>\n

He added that Retal\u2019s score for the Sustainable Procurement category has already reached 70%, an increase of 10 points, a tangible effect of the implementation of its Sustainable Procurement Program in 2019. \u00a0<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u201cOur CSR actions and mitigations are continuously improving, following the ISO 26000 standard, and ensuring the sustainable development of our company,\u201d\u00a0he concluded.<\/p>\n
