RETAL receives A- in CDP Supplier Engagement Assessment

RETAL has been awarded an A- score in the CDP Supplier Engagement Assessment (SEA), recognising the company’s approach to supplier engagement and climate management across the packaging value chain.

The result follows RETAL’s 2025 CDP Climate Change disclosure score of B.

The CDP SEA evaluates companies in areas including governance, climate targets, Scope 3 emissions, and supplier engagement.

As a manufacturer of PET preforms, closures, films and packaging solutions, RETAL works closely with suppliers and partners across its value chain on transparency, emissions reduction and sustainability reporting.

The assessment also recognises RETAL’s approach to including sustainability criteria within procurement and supplier management processes.

Elena Ralchenko, Sustainability Engineer at RETAL, said, “Our CDP SEA score recognises the importance of supplier engagement, transparency and climate management across the value chain. It also supports increasing customer expectations around sustainability reporting, robust emissions data, and supply chain visibility.”
